so frustrating, it seems they make you do a tutorial?? Tutorial loads fine and nothing happens in the city, no tutorial guide no nothing. Just a small town where I can see cars moving and time is passing, yet I can click or build or do anything just move the map around??

They do. Try force-quitting and reloading.

All my sims are dying... lol And moving out... damn it...

I'll tell ya, I definitely don't have my graphics turned up all the way. They seem incredibly low. I can't wait to get my new computer and actually explore these cities. They look so bland right now. I won't be posting any screenshots until I have an acceptable graphics card. If someone else wants to take some snaps, I'd love to know what my city really looks like haha.

Yeah I have an awful graphics card and the game is rather slow and glitchy for me. I had most of my settings on low which helped a little.

In other news: I just spent most of my money trying to wrap my rail around that stupid ridge.

Guys, I just built a Department of Tourism onto my city hall, which should allow the whole region to access Tourism specific upgrades. If someone would add a different Department, we can start covering them off.

What are the options? I've stopped playing to skype. Once I start playing again I can build one!

Tourism, Finance, Education, Safety, Public Works, Transportation... I can't remember what else there is, if anything. Servers just went down for me.

20 minute queue now. Very pleased with how my city is coming along though. I need a municipal airport ASAP. That is my next goal, along with increasing density. I have very little industrial and I think a lot of it will be gone very quick. My commercial and casinos seem to be able to maintain my employment levels. Cope Landing is starting to look less like a town and more like a city.

Sounds like you are all having fun, but it sounds frustrating and full of glitches. I was thinking of buying this, so is it worth it ?? Also the computer I am using is probably adequate but near the lower limits of system requirements. The last one I was familiar with is SC 3000.

Ugh, I guess my 2.5-year-old computer isn't the gaming machine she once was. I'll have to play on lower settings as well. I got most of the way through the tutorial before I got booted from the server. Copes, where could you see the wait time to get back on? I don't see anything like that.
