It looks good, but it does not appear as tall as it actually is. Lots of mass will do that though.

not to veer off subject, i have to ask this though. why arent there any taller buildings in japan, like supertalls... i would guess the demand is there, being that tokyo and osaka real estate is among the most expensive in the world. is it because of earthquakes...

Yes, also the Japanese are some of the most risk averse people in the world. Supertalls have a greater risk/higher possible reward dynamic.

The location for this building is a huge plus.

If one goes to the first page, then clicks View Full Map, and, finally hits Map, the smart location positioning stands out. Within a 15 minute walk of the building, there are two subway lines, and two rail stations which intersect.

At the end of the business day, as the thousands of 'salaryman' exit, the close by transportation systems will swallow them up quickly and send them on their way.

This is part of the brilliance inherent in this building's site choice.

Osaka seems to get very little exposure on SSP, despite its gigantic size (19 million in the metropolitan region) and economy (7th largest on the planet).

Absurdly, GaWC ranks Osaka as a Gamma+ city, alongside the likes of Durban, Zagreb and San Salvador; and below (!!!) Calgary, Amman, Cleveland, and Manama.
