The FT. Mac one is very well done and could be placed in the downtown of any major city and be welcomed.

I think the difference is that that building in Fort Mac is a premiere building for the downtown there. What we are wanting to compare it to is something that is tucked behind the Molson brewery here.

This has to be one of the worst projects going. Not just the disappointment from what was to be a good project, but the lasting statement it will leave on an important entrance to the DT.

Maybe he needs to restate that again. We need "rigid" design guidelines for downtown developments that projects are vetted by and approved.

I don't know if you can legislate good design moreso than we already do.

I thought Mandel had given up the good fight. Projects like the Venetian would 🞵🞵🞵🞵 the soul out of almost anyone, leaving their dessicated corpse behind for other "architects" to poke at like like vultures on carrion.

Crane up at Jewish site downtown... Someone should get a shot of the three cranes in that area. I wonder what the chances of any of the towers in the high street area starting are... Be sweet to have 5+ in the west jasper ave area...
