You can now see this tower on the skyline on the way into town from White City.

Not sure what floor they are on now but they must be close to topping out.

Yup, believe they will top it off sometime this month if I remember their Twitter feed correctly.

Updated images on their FaceBook page also - https://www.facebook.com/CSPRegina

Really like the curvature of this project. I think it adds a lot to the building aesthetic. I fully admit I have a bit of building envy for what has been happening in Regina vs Saskatoon. We have had LOTS of building activity with over a billion $ in construction, but so much of it has been the 4 to 6 story variety. Still waiting for that one impactfull development to hit the skyline of stoon. Good on ya', Regina!

I heard that progress might stop or be delayed on this project. Initial intentions were to have this tower done by now.

Where did that come from? I have a tough time believing that this project which is over 60% sold and has moved along quite well would all of a sudden come to a halt. What is your rationale for this, apparently, unsubstantiated comment.

progress on the building has slowed since xmas - what appears to be the final floor (actually roof to the top living area) is taking quite some time to complete but the idea that this building could be complete in 10 months or less is a bit out there unless by complete you mean concrete work. In any case, just throwing "I heards" out there without adding a source or qualifier doesn't add much value. - just saying.

A good friend is working on this building. They had a break over Christmas, but it's not stalled.

Whelp...I guess it is currently stalled until further notice. A costly mistake is to blame and they're currently figuring out what to do. So on hold until they do.

^^^ Well i took a shot at posing the question on there facebook page as to whether the project was stalled or not and had a very fast reply back that said

"Centre Square Place Hi Greg, 10th floor design plans are being finalized, plumbing, electrical and mechanical sub-trades working behind the hoarding"

Dosent really anwser the question to wheather it is stalled, but there is still work going on.

I drove by the site on Friday, and I saw workers ground level at the site. It looks to me they are still doing work.

Since the original plans were there, it seems the second quote here verifies the first one. Hope they're able to sort it out soon.

What I heard is that the 8th floor was poured in the rain and the concrete is showing signs of weakness (cracking) in places already.

I remember it snowing when that was being done. The ground work will continue for now, but the concrete work won't for now.

I work in the SaskPower building and can see CSP from our windows. It seems to me that nothing at all has happened on this building for almost 2 months. Never see any workers on any floor and the crane has not lifted a thing for 8 weeks.

What I've heard is that Graham Construction has walked because they are owed millions of dollars in progress payments that are overdue. Anyone have connections that can confirm or deny that wild rumour?

Gross!

First it was that there was a problem and then it was that Graham is not being paid...is it both? Meaning is there a problem with the concrete on one floor causing the owner to withhold payments and Graham walking because they're not being paid? If so this is and will continue to be ugly and the delay could be long.
