Left to Right: Kelly Ramsey redevelopment (hotel/office, 24 floors), 102 St Centre (office, ~32 floors), Ultima condos (32 floors), Encore Condos (~40 floors), Fox Towers (condo, 32 and 27 floors)

That doesn't include any of the five towers that are proposed for the arena district.

Was the CN Tower almost falling over that day?

It was my messed up placement of Oxford Place - Hotel 1 that made it appear that the CN Tower was falling over..

Yorkville alone will be battling Calgary, Montreal and Vancouver for Canada's second best skyline in my opinion.

Oh definitely! Especially if the 50 Bloor proposal comes to fruition/is high quality.

Similar to how Lower Manhattan battles the rest of the US for best second best after midtown. (Unless I'm mixing the two up? well, whatever )

Despite midtown being taller and having the Chrysler/Empire State Building, I actually like the downtown skyline better.

Actually I think the best skyline the U.S. has ever had was the older downtown Manhattan skyline.. This one. (Not a Canadian skyline so I'm linking it instead of posting the picture)

I think this old pic of New York is the best skyline this world has ever had.

Yup fully agree, nothing even comes close to it. This was probably the zenith of the "art" of skyline-building.

Here's my thoughts on officially proposed projects and under construction in Winnipeg. I don't have the MPI lots in there so it could change things.

From R to L - Glasshouse Condo Tower, Alt Hotel, WCC Hotel, Fortress 1 Condo Tower, Fortress 2 Condo Tower, D Condo Tower, Heritage Landing Apartments

I have obviously taken some liberty with the Fortress Project as even though it is proposed for 36 stories i don't believe it will be a new tallest (if it ends up being 36 stories at all).

The original picture is from trueviking.

Toronto drives me nuts. It's like they are afraid to build anything taller than FCP. (CN tower doesn't count)

Oxford Place, theres two of them that are both taller than FCP. And possibly two or one tower(s) from 1 Yonge. Give Toronto some time.

I have seen that project, but it isn't confirmed yet.
