From all the renderings on the previous page, this is going to be one sexy tower. It will make an already beautiful skyline even better.

Although it will only be the (6th) tallest tower in the city (I believe, we counted pixels and it seems to be coming in around 545 ft), It will be one of a couple crown jewels in an already stuning downtown. This tower should be a beacon of technology, beauty and of course a benchmark for sustainable towers of the largest scale.

Gensler TV again. "Workplace Performace" - Every couple of floors will be 2-story atriums/"town squares" with green space to encourage collaboration. Some good imagery in this vid.

Just wanted to give credit to forumer Urbana for posting these OFFICIAL Gensler renderings a couple months ago but even on my decently large 24" LCD monitor they were too big, so I resized them to 1366 x768 resolution so I could see the whole thing.

This aerial gives my urban density self a serious hard on. :p

The view from Mt Washington will probably be the best unobstructed view of this new building. From Point Park, The Northshore/Northside and from the Arena area in the lower hill it will probably be tougher to see and at least moderately obstructed. Not as tall as the locals want but HEY what're you gonna do!?

The view from the new $5 million dollar renovated Italian Piazza aka Market Square is gonna be THE SHIT!

And one last Photoshop from me (ok ok, MS Paint) to show a slightly more full version of the Market Square view.

^When out of towners see that angle while here on business or whatever they are gonna be in love with this city.

I never get tired of reading these awesome comments from the many skyscraper fans!

Pittsburgh has such a unique skyline with a real gem rising in the center of it all.

So are these renderings not correct? In the diagram section on here it shows this building being about the same height as one Oxford centre. Yet those renders show it being way shorter.

A forumer counted the pixels earlier in the thread and came up with the height being 545 ft which seems to be the correct, working number at this point.

Well then in those renders it should be as high as PPG places roof height, but looks to be a hell of a lot shorter than it there.

PPG is 635 ft and Oxford is 615 ft.

545 feet seems right. Fifth Avenue Place is 616 to the spire, and this is easily above the roof of that. You have to imagine the spire on Fifth Avenue Place is around 100 feet tall. Anyone know for sure? I couldn't find it listed anywhere.
