The Jets just cannot let up on Sunday agains the Islanders. If they want to be a playoff team, they have to bank a clean two at home, against likely non-playoff teams.

They mentioned one that made me laugh on TSN "MARIOS POOL BOY" but wow is he fun to watch and when he got them up by 2 I figured we would be in for a long night.

Winnipeg fans want the MTSC to become the most hostile arena in the league for the enemy to play in. I"m all for it; makes games much more fun!

Fans anywhere can do what they want obviously. Doesn't matter if its the Peg or anywhere in the NHL or in any league/sport. But to constantly get on a certain players back because hes talented and boo him or her IMO is low rent and Classless. Would you go ahead a boo you're kids rival Minor hockey teams star lol. You would look like a goof!!!! especially if you kept doing it when he touched the puck!

Sorry I disagree. It's all in good fun and no one is getting hurt by it. Plus it gets the fans energized and pumped up for gametime.

People who are offended by this need to grow a thicker skin. This is the NHL; not Pee Wee hockey.

I just thought it was weird because there's no history between Crosby and the Jets.

Normally fans will boo a player due to some type of past incident (ie. Wings fans v. Parise last night, Flames fans v. Tim Erixon last year and Oil fans v. Pronger in the past). I wasn't sure if Crosby did something to piss of 'Peggers in the past and I wasn't aware of it.

The fans boo who they consider to be the best player on the other team. It is a little strange, but until we have a few playoff series under our belt, that's about all we can do. Create animosity where it doesn't yet exist.

Well Anaheim wrecked the canucks' home opener and last night we returned the favour. Vancouver wins 5-0. Weve played better and better every game. So far so good.

One of the reasons for the Canucks slow starts these past few years is because of Luongo's average play at the beginning of each season. If Schneider is solid right from the start, the Canucks have (imo) a good shot at winning their division again, even without Kesler and Booth for a while.

I wonder if a Luongo to Edmonton could happen - say Gagner in return. The Oilers would be a legit contender for a division title right away and the Canucks get a good young centre that would fit perfect with the brute force of Zack Kassian. Pure speculation obviously.

Each to there own! Like I said they can do what they want. Spectators pay for their ticket. I just look at them as whining bi---es in the stands. Its annoying!

It's early, but judging by that over the top celebration, this guy looks more concerned with show boating than being a team player. Who celebrates like that this early in the regular season?
