Good work, it's pretty exciting that we have 6 condo towers proposed over 80 stories. And two mixed use buildings in the super-tall ranger.

as for the tallest of the towers, wow, I really hope they don't pull an FCP and don't go for the full 300m+, also hope they'll push it to 100 stories

Thanks guys... I need somebody to post a render of the IQ towers, and 599 Yonge as well. All I've seen so far of these towers are line drawings.

So it appears that although Bay-Adelaide East will be just off Yonge, they will be demolishing a four storey heritage building on the corner in order to build a narrow podium that extends out to touch Yonge:

There is a pdf floating around indicating that they might replace the facade of the faux-heritage Addition Elle building on the north side with the facade of the heritage building, but that hasn't been confirmed. Otherwise, it's not a huge loss but it doesn't really seem necessary to me. There's nothing particularly prestigious about a Yonge Street address.

Word at UT is that the groundbreaking ceremony for the Harbour Plaza office building at 1 York is next week. Giving that shoring of the site has already began, that means that the office tower is now under construction:

So we lose a 4 floor historical building with character for a glass box the exact same size? Bay-Adelaide was mind numbing enough, but now this???
