I would hope they adapted the Citadis trains to Ottawa's needs, not just attach a bunch of low capacity tram cars together.

Again, they will need to change the name of Confederation Station. Give that name to the Metcalf Station.

The reports also make it sound as if we're just going to get two trains, which is highly unlikely. Even the O-train will be getting 6 trains.

I've never heard of tunnels being mined out before. I've heard of that for stations, but not for the entire tunnel. I suppose that it is maybe short enough that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

I'm not a huge fan of the architecture of the stations. It's not bad, but the designs they had before were incredible in comparison. Lebreton in particular is a big disappointment.

The schedule says construction finished October 2017, revenue service in May 2018.

Since the website does not seem to allow for comments yet, how should I inform them that the presentation slides for the stations are incorrect: a drawing of Downtown West station close by the Glue Pot Club is under the section for Downtown East station, and there a couple of other errors between the two. I don't mean to be picky, but for a $2.1 Billion dollar project, you'd think they would get the first public presentation right.

Some of the rooflines for the stations seem to invite wind channeling down into the open air waiting areas, could be a bit frosty in February.

Other than that, it's looking good, though a few more drawings of hipsters waiting at Tunney's Pasture station would spice things up a bit.

I'm not liking the bike racks pictured at the stations. They're probably the worst kind that can be installed. Cyclists call those wheel benders for a reason.
