that is the most exciting project in canada imo. i was holding that place in my heart for Aura, but after looking at that photo i feel at once that ICE is better. its just sooo wonderfull. that is the exact kind of condo project that calgary needs to set the bar high. a tower project like that would boost any skyline and for a city like calgary, it would give it that much needed rise in standard. build it on the far west end, then bamm... one look at that building and sudenly living in calgarys downtown would scream with excitement.

Aura still has 35 floors to go and mostly curtain wall glass. Hold out hope, Aura will top ICE. I'm making you that promise. If only because if its sheer size and majestic glass top.

I will admit when you're down on Bremner in the Skywalk between Telus House and 18 York, you fell like you're in some Future-World of Bladerunner. Now more than ever as the super tower gets set to overtake ICE 1.

It looks like Calgary is maturing from a tall skinny teenager, hitting the gym and bulking up quite a bit. It sure is getting dense.

Great pic Surreal! I hope someone uses that to add in a render of Herald Square behind Suncor, that would really complete the pic.
