So if I had to guess I would say either Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, or de Grisogno. Am I even kind of close?

Inditex (Zara/Massimo Dutti parent company) is testing the Canadian market with their Eaton Centre store. If they see good sales you will indeed see Massimo Dutti in Vancouver.

Whatever goes in there I hope they move forward with a fairly comprehensive redesign like what was proposed when H&M was looking at the space (or at least when it was pitched to H&M).

Someone told me today that Montblanc is coming to Alberni. Also Cartier will be opening a corporate store here. Apparently the one we have is only licensed.

Montblanc has been rumoured for years to be opening a store In Vancouver, but this is the first I have heard of a "concrete" store opening. None of the following retailers are the high end store I was describing. I am not a liberty to say, but its going to be big if everything goes through. There is currently not one of these stores in Canada. Cartier would not surprise me as they have been shopping for space in Oakridge Centre. Bulgari is also another tenant who has been shopping for space on alberni street but as of right now not aware of them having signed anything.

Okay I did some digging around of my own and the word I'm hearing is D&G or Dior. C'mon, man, give me a sign!

what about Calvin Klein - they shut down all their license stores so they could open a corporate store in vancover

Dior is negotiating a lease on Bloor for the old LV spot.
I can't see Calvin Klein being the high-end announcement.

I really am not a liberty to tell. Plus the deal has not been fully finalized so I would hate to get everybody hyped. I have not heard anything about Dior opening in Vancouver, but there have been some very small rumbles of D&G, but I do not see that happening till they have opened the Toronto store.

Something's up with Quiksilver. I was in Phoenix last week and tried going to two stores, both of which were covered up and emptied out of inventory. One of the stores had been open just a day prior. They must be going through some sort of corporate turmoil.

Puma was closed a while back - but I only noticed Quicksilver today, as well.

Two very prime retail spaces available - and some of the best retail architecture downtown.
