This is a separate thread altogether and a national category. People repost photos all the time in areas where the masses go. I put them in their appropriate places so people can enjoy them.

Just like the photos of the airport in the Calgary Airport thread. There hasnt been an aerial photo in that thread for quite a while, and some of those people dont even come into the main thread.

I also posted a huge photo update on Tuesday of the projects under construction in Calgary but i missed a few so I re-posted the few I missed to complete the update.

Im taking time out of my day to put photos where they are missing.
That's cool. Wasn't trying to be rude, I don't post on here often so I was just curious. Sorry if you took it in an offensive way. Heck, I'd be happy to help out when it comes to sharing pics if you need it

^ Nice! The low cloud makes the density look endless. I think that's also the least photographed angle of Vancouver (from the west end, looking east), and the shots from there that are posted are usually pretty impressive.

That's one of the most impressive shots of Vancouver I've ever seen. It looks massive.

Now that's a sweet shot. I like how the Lake takes a turn...

Speaking of which, I've been to TO several times, but never got around to seeing the lakefront west of downtown. I know east of downtown there is the beaches (which as a Montrealer I found really great - I mean a water source serving a leisurely purpose in the core). Anything similar west of downtown?

There are small beaches and a pedestrian/bike path running all the way to Etobicoke. None of the beaches are as big as the ones in the east though.

To the west: Sunnyside Pavilion sits at the lakefront terminus of High Park and used to have a Coney Island type vibe to it. Tens of thousands of Torontonians would flock there. When the Gardiner Expressway was built, the park was severed from the pavilion and the lake and the whole area died. Sunnyside Pavilion still stands and is just out of frame in that ZensLens photo.

Really good pics on this page, I especially love that night shot of Vancouver and the Edmonton skyline above.

The West End has great density but also an incredible diversity of building types, materials, and designs unlike the newer areas like Yaletown whre all the buildings are the same height, all made of glass, and all look the same.

Yep, the Molsons have been here since 1786 and have been an important part of the city ever since.

And yet, I still don't drink their shitty beer
