That is definitely not taken with a telephoto lens. That is what the north shore mountains look like to the naked eye. I love this time of year when the snow accentuates all the contours of the mountains, reminding you that these peaks are not just a 2D backdrop.

Nope, no telephoto, although I did a bit of zoom. I get to see these bad boys from my kitchen window. When they're not surrounded in low cloud, that is

Those parking lots along the CP Rail line in Calgary kill me. Sigh. Although finally there are starting to be some major projects down the pipe for that area of downtown. That rail line created Calgary, but man does it stunt development along it downtown.

Canada malting on St-Ambroise is my favorite of all urban exploration sites in Montreal. Its also the most challenging and terrifying. If I had a bigger lens I'd go back there in a blink.
