If UTA ran SLC airport, it too would be closed in the middle of the night, limited weekend service, and closed all on holidays.
They only care about the M-F 8-5 professional and not the general public.
Case in point: The two bus routes that travel through Spanish Fork to Springville do little to go past any commercial developments. In fact, it travels a very rural route of UT-51 between the two cities when it could easily reroute past the new Costco, Maceys, airport, armory, county jail, multiple large employers (Neways, Nature's Sunshine, Young Living, Provo Craft, etc.), several apartment complexes, Walmart, and IHC InstaCare. That route would be only 2.3 miles and six minutes longer and service the needs of many potential riders.
They'd rather step over a dollar to pick up a dime.
