Harlem is modern day Forest Park, Illinois. Valparaiso is a result of the US Census Bureau defining metro areas by county; Braidwood is equally questionable (the far corner of Will County down towards Morris). In 1910 Aurora, Elgin, etc. weren't part of Chicagoland; they are in for consistency's sake.
Edit: Made Valparaiso a bonus. This means Portage, Indiana would be ineligible for the modern lists, but Portage isn't close to making them.
