Montreal in 2006.

A good part of the skyline is missing and the quality is bad but it is still a good picture.

Nice scene.

I know these are not quite skyline pics, but here are a couple I took from my favorite spot in downtown Vancouver. I love the feel around Burrard Station.

Pics are my own:

If you chopped off the top half of that picture I could easily mistake this for Brooklyn. I love the density and urban vibe of Montreal.

That's kind of my pet peeve about many Vancouver buildings, is their lack of light at night. Many office towers shut just about all their lights off and some landmark heritage buildings (Dominion, Sun Tower, just to name two) aren't lit up at all. So if I do any nighttime skyline photography, dusk is always a good bet because you can be sure the condos will still have lights on at least.

Something to make Montreal even better would be to rebuild those bridges, something worth looking at. Great opportunity for engineering a monument for the city.

I intended to quote the picture, don't know what went wrong with that.

The Champlain bridge will be replaced within ten years. As for Victoria and Jacques-Cartier, they are historic structures that I hope will never be replaced.

Pretty interesting angle. Altitude Montreal is visible. Its height is supposed to be 124m. The crane in the foreground is for Flex Condominiums (10 floors).
