Dang you beat me too it. I snapped a pic yesterday and was going to post, but life got in the way. Here it is. Bad angle, but rises about 10-15 feet above street level.

looks like they were serious when they said this tower would rise quickly.

there are two cranes working on the site this morning, and a large group of workers have been there from sunup to sundown for the last few weeks.

the crane is supposed to be delivered this weekend, if previous reports were accurate, which means we'll really start to see this thing rise soon!

Very cool Boise. Once steel passes street level this is when the fun begins.

It is not. There is just a temporary/mobile crane inside the hole that is being utilized. And from what I've heard those are not cheep.

After I was done playing on top of City Centre Garage I hit the Eastman Garage
for a few updates. Mixing HDR and smoke, yeah.

wow, that IS a big pour! it's making the entire east side of downtown slant downward from the weight!

The Hoff will still be visible from this view with the new HQ, which is good.
photo circa June of this year before the sunset. I love the textures from the sun light across the Foothills.


The Aspen ~~ to me it looks like a computer chip from this direction. Too bad the backside was not glassed up more. The front side is excellent.
