Burnet Road has been in transition for over ten years - and the pace of change is accelerating. 20 years ago Burnet was the worst eyesore in Austin - a jumble of parking lots and commercial signs for fading businesses. Now, with 78704 becoming so overpriced, the southern part of Burnet is becoming a go to place for new restaurants and cool residential development. We'll be calling it Sobu before you know it.
