Lol. I like the people from Dallas just fine, but I don't think anyone from Austin would ever want their Downtown to be like Dallas'. It really doesn't matter because it never could be like Dallas' DT. Not with UT, the Lake and the streets. And I somehow don't think UT, the Lake or Congress or 6th are planning on getting up and moving anywhere anytime soon.

Hehe. She is right though. The people are what make it such a great place to be. But I just have to wonder if she knows what would be more boring than a Downtown with pretty buildings.... A Downtown with no people. If that is the kind of city she wants there are a few huge Downtowns in Texas where she can find lots of open empty spaces with no people after the bell every day.
