Here are a few shots I took yesterday from the Alex Fraser Bridge

The first two are of the New Westminster skyline, which is very impressive for a suburb of 50 000.

And here is one, taken from the same spot, of the Edmonds Skyline:

I was wondering... do you have a source for this number of 173 buildings UC? Because in the database there are only 154.

Though I do find it extremely impressive that Canada has more buildings UC(312) than the United States, United kingdom, France, Japan, and Russia combined!(284)

Where did you get your number from?

Hmmm, do you know the completion dates for these buildings?

So basically... if I'm guessing correctly that any tower that just started now will almost certainly be done in 4 years... and obviously most of those 173 were started before this year... we will have another 173 new towers in Toronto by 2016? That is crazy.

Yes, the maps take the boundary of the area, and evenly spread the dots out within the boundary, thus making a visual representation of the population and apparent density. I think it makes the maps more easy to compare to other areas of the city, though i wouldnt mind seeing another version with the true developments boundary indicated.

I think without a doubt, Edmonton has the longest skyline.

Exception being Yonge Street.

It is probably Montreal or Vancouver before Edmonton........Edmonton just appears longer I think.
