Sorry, I don't know why that on in particular was in - but it's normal to have ships from many nations in St. John's Harbour. I don't think you could ever go down there and find only Canadian ships. The Port Authority might have more information - I'll check around.
Greek ones, in particular, are quite common. The Greek shipping barons control an obscene percentage of the world's ships. Then you have the Russians, the Portuguese, the South American countries, Scandinavia, etc.
