Heard that it was an awesome show given that Angello is the shittiest of the now defunct Swedish House Mafia.

Sounds awesome, but why is it way out there at C.O.P??? We need more parties downtown with the bass bumping off the buildings! Oh yes, latin fest is tomorrow downtown, which I am definitely going to!

I was thinking thats what people were going to say, but the show was awesome. People were wild and crazy but totally respectful. Lots of hands in the air. Oh screw it, I will post a video.

My bad it's actually next weekend. I am betting it has to do with noise as usual! PK Sound is doing the sound so it's bound to be BANGING!

kw5150, looks like you had fun! I haven't been out clubbing, dancing, partying whatever it's called these days in a while

I used to party in what Richard Florida calls the Tor-Buf-Chester area and saw huge name acts in Toronto like Oakenfold, Tiesto, Corsten, PVD, Aoki, etc. and awesome smaller name acts in Buffalo (techno, house, trance) and Rochester (dnb/jungle). damn, I'm lame now

Steve Angello was great! Especially for a free show. I'm not as much of a fan of his solo stuff but he put on a fantastic set, lots of bangers. I wonder how long they will be keeping the Cowboys tent up.

Chris Isaak sounded good from my bedroom last night, one of the perks of living in Sunnyside during Folk Fest.

Wish more people thought that was a perk.

With the windows open you can hear most of the music pretty clearly from our place. If you don't like it close the windows and get some white noise going (fan) and you'll fall asleep no problem.

The Folk Fest are very strict about their scheduling, which I think has helped the relationship with the community. I was a volunteer for a few years (until my baby boy took away all of my time and energy!), and they are probably the most punctual music event I have ever witnessed.

Folk fest and Iron Maiden....that's why the core was hoping last night.

Beirut nailed it, as did Charles Bradley. I wish it just became a folk fest standard for everyone to stand up and dance for the 2 head liners. I'm tired of the dancing controversy.

Fun fact, Bruce Dickinson took one of the Buffalo Airways DC-3's for a few flights the day after their show in Edmonton. It will be in the next season of Ice Pilots.
