Hey folks -- I'm originally from Pittsburgh (McKeesport specifically) and go home about twice a year. In Philly now. I haven't been keeping up on this like I should. Can someone tell me the final height and floors for this? The few times I have checked on it the renderings, floor count and height keep changing. I know its listed at 40 floors and 600 feet but the recent article said 33 floors. I'm thinking it might be around 500 now? Any info would be appreciated.

It's definitely 33 floors; that's official. The height has yet to be announced. However, forumer "fizzard" a few pages back used some good math based on current renderings and adjacent buildings to come up with a height of roughly 550 ft.

There are now some steel girders popping up out of the ground. Excavation is clearly not totally done on the site but maybe they are to be used for shoring as they dig deeper on one side of the steel. I don't really think they are part of the building's superstructure. Anyways, it's a visible sign of progress and I figured I'd report it.

There is a second, parallell row of steel girders now and I think a fellow onlooker guessed correct; It looks like a temporary road is about to be constructed. Most of the dirt left is on the
Fifth Ave. side and a good portion of it is being used as the temporary road down into the pit.
