L is looking great, at first II was concerned with how it was going to look with the mix of window-wall and curtain-wall but it's turning out better then I could have imagined. This will be a head turner when complete. Also the blue looks amazing.

As for 4 Seasons I'd be surprised if they don't put sinage on top. You don't build a new flagship tower for your company and not put your logo on it. Especially when the former location will have it's logo taken off in a few years.

Apologize for the poor cell phone pic, but I'm not too sure why the Bow is off of this list already?

- plaza (including Jaume Plensa public art component) and connections to surrounding builidngs aren't finished yet
- if the photo weren't so poor, you could see that there are broken curtain wall panes that still need replacing
- tenants have barely moved into lower floors and all common spaces (retail, sky gardens, etc.) are months away from finishing
- Encana has been informed some tenants won't be moved in until next year and the grand opening of the building isn't until Q1 2013

Doesn't sound finished to me.

Looks like it...

The Bow is a Graduate of the List now.

They took The Residences of the Hotel Georgia off the other list like 4 months ago and that building still isn't finished yet.

Even in the database it is marked as "complete"

- landscaping really has nothing to do with building operations
- at least it isn't raining glass
- base building has long been turned over to outfitters, occupation permits have been issued, operators are in place, and tenants have moved in, rent is being paid.
- ceremonial; can be scheduled around other people's schedule than the actual event being celebrated

It's all subjective . Office endeavours may take years to lease out and reach full capacity. Even strata plans are now being registered before all the work has been completed.

As far as I'm concerned, once a building is topped out and the cladding is all up, it should be taken off the list.

Thanks for the explanation.

For a moment I didn't recognize this as Toronto. And when will we see some interiors of the Bow?

Met up with one of the investors in Four Seasons last night, told me he was really excited about this Victorian Rug Driveway that is supposed to house all the supercar Lamborghini's and Ferraris. Said he didn't understand why they didn't get this thing ready and open before the Film Festival.

Oh well.

I'm not seeing sexy yet, but once the landscaping is complete and the fountain I'm sure I will. Toronto needs more fountains.
