Which building? The one in the fore looks as hurting as the one in the back.

^indeed. But there is something bracing about its Irkutskian character.

Montreal North, on the other hand, is perhaps less redeemable than Longueuil. Ok, maybe not as bad as Longueuil, because nothing (Except Nickelback) is worse than Longueuil, although Laval's clock tower condo comes extremely close.

Terrebonne is frightfully fugly. Dorion is excruciatingly ugly. Pierrefonds Boulevard and Neuman Boulevards are an assault on the eyes.

Montreal has some of the most beautiful (certainly the most intriguing) urbanscapes, but holy moly la ville marie has its share of supreme ugliness.

Maybe soul-crushing, but I don't find it particularly ugly. It's got offices that look like giant warehouses of yore on one side and ruddy pastorale commercial on the other. Almost intriguing.
