The SSP database with respect to Toronto is exceptionally accurate. I can't think of a single project that it's missing, and that's saying a lot given how quickly new proposals pop up.

Just looking, I do notice one error. Studio II is now u/c, as digging is well underway.

Studio 1 includes the tower and podium covering 80% of the parking lot . Studio 2 is only the taller tower which is to go up on the sales office site.

Considering Panama City has 17 200 meter towers BUILT, that right there is "a lie", although can be forgiven because you forgot to include buildings w/out drawings in your diagram search.

Maybe not in a few years, but the crux of my original argument has been that some posters (cough, Caltrane) are portraying Toronto to be CURRENTLY bigger than it is. In this case, 16 of your 33 are proposals, and 5 more have not CURRENTLY hit the 200 meter mark. I have no problem with you saying that it WILL be much better, but I do have a problem when you assert that it already is.

By the way caltrane, I'm not trying to go after you personally, and I really appreciate all of your updates in the construction threads. However, I was attacked relentlessly on another thread for this, and unfortunately, my best defense here has been a good offense. I am not attacking you, but I AM attacking your argument, and if it's a battle to the death (with the argument), not only will I win, but I will destroy it until there is nothing left to salvage.

And that's exactly how marketing folks frame everything to convince themselves that everything is above board/can't get sued. Nothing you posted is a lie, but you know very well people are going to look at this numbers: 33 vs. 15. Sales people use every trick in the book to paint things in a positive light because their pay cheque depends upon it. It's the very opposite approach used in science where the aim is to be objectivity, transparency, and to be ethical. They don't have anything to gain from one finding or another (unless they're paid by private interest groups).

I took marketing in university. I know how it works.

He's not that far from the truth re: a "Canadian record". That only year that seemingly may have surpassed the current total's was Toronto in 1972. But in any event there are far more buildings of significant stature going up now than back then.

Toronto has approved 2 supertalls before.. Even if both of them cheated to the position with spires. But one got shortened (trump) and one got cancelled (Weston skyscraper at 401 & yonge)
