I think this picture by tomms at UT really emphasizes how big and how urban Toronto is outside of the CBD (at least to the West):

That's Bathurst in the foreground of the picture with the old bridge across the tracks. Crazy thing is this continues for quite a bit behind the camera.

I thought Ford just moved it to Etobicoke since that area needed the tourism boost more than downtown and downtown wasn't car-friendly enough to support it.

Toronto if far and away North Americas third skyline. i don't include Panama because it is Central America and therefor should not be considered a north american city. Toronto is getting bigger and bigger, leaving behind other skylines rapidly. Calgary is getting a few big, new towers as well and some of them will make big changes for the skyline over all.

Central America is not a continent; it is a region of southern North America.

ok then, that would make it (Panama City),the #3 skyline in north america. however, i just don't feel like it is a part of north america. it is central america. continent or no continent it matters little. if you look at a map or globe, it looks to be far closer to the largest land mass of south america. so, the only reasoning for it to be called north america, would be because some group of know it all's, at some point in time, got together and decided to make it such. not trying to argue because i am sure you are right about it being north america. in fact i already knew that. i just feel this way about Panama City. btw, it is got one hot skyline imo.

So you think Panama has a larger and/or more attractive skyline than Toronto?
