Continuing my tour of Kawagoe's warehouse district, Kashiya Yokocho is a shopping street for traditional Japanese candy.

























These are not baguettes, but a hard bread made of brown sugar.



















I couldn't help but get a little snack myself. These flour balls taste bland except for the salty sauce on top.









Historic lowrise buildings line the main street in the warehouse district.











The fire-watching tower stood well above everyone else during the Edo period.



























I suppose under-aged kids are disciplined enough not to buy cigarettes from these vending machines.
