The Edmonton shots look great! Is Epcore in two buildings? I see their name on the top of the one building first shot but they just built a new building as well.

The smaller precast tower is their previous location. It is undergoing a complete reno/expansion from GE Capital and will be back on the market as a LEED Gold EB. It already is significantly pre-leased.
You cannot quite see their new tower as it is just blocked to the north.

Well, its definitely not "blah" in person when you are standing there overlooking it. This is one of my favourite angles. It shows the width from north to south.

One can always tell exactly where the train tracks are when looking due East or West. The massive drop-off in height from EAP and Bankers Hall to the condos in the Beltline is a bit dramatic for my taste. I'm quite sure it will fill in nicely in time, though.

It's a hell of a lot better than it was a few short years ago, but yeah definitely not the prettiest of angles. Like I said previous, hopefully the next batch of condos will be nicer than the last batch...
I like that Calgary shot. While it may not be the most flattering, it's still from a vantage point we don't get to see very often. I also appreciate that it's a wide, all encompassing shot that displays some areas outside of the direct financial core.
I live in Winnipeg, and I often attempt to take skyline photographs from various angles, even though some may highlight the density, etc. better than others. [I'm not comparing the skylines of the two cities here; I'm an ex - Calgarian now living in Winnipeg]
I'm just sayin' that I appreciate skyline shots from every angle. Thanks for the view!
I actually agree with Coldrsx that the view from the east is not the best angle for Calgary. The view seems to showcase a lot of the '70's and '80's era cement blocks moreso than other angles. Also the second tallest is essentially blocked from view.
In the morning the east view benefits from the sun reflecting off the mountains but this angle is far better in the evening looking into the setting sun with the skyline and mountains in silhouette.
The view will really improve with East Village development in the foreground and the Herald Square development just to the left of the Bow.
The view from the east should be Calgary's postcard view of the skyline with the mountains visible but similar to Toronto's lakefront view it is far from the best angle overall... at least at the moment.

Currently none. I believe they are in the process of getting a new tenant. But it was previously in the widest building in the picture. It is beige, has the green strip down the centre, and has the green top. The green top is the revolving restaurant.

Woohoo, look at those mountains! So beautiful. They never get tiring. This picture is a fairly good representation of how the mountains look like
on the horizon. They are quite visible from many areas of Calgary.
