This is one of Montreal's more flattering angles, IMO.

I love Sherbrooke Street, especially between De Lorimier and downtown. There is a pretty good stretch of it that is lined with apartment towers.

I like the two distinctive glazing design techniques used on the TD Building and Manulife. The TD Building uses grey stone to clump together multiple stories of black gazing making the building (at a quick glance) appear to only have 6 or so really big floors. Contrast that to Manulife which uses small glazing units to appear to have a hundred or so small floors.

What are you talking about? Calgary has the beltline. Just about the same thing/size as Vancouver's west end but south of the main skyline instead. Im sorry but I had way too good of a weekend in Calgary walking around and enjoying the city to listen to this crap. Calgary is nothing like dubai.

^that perspective really shows quite the amazing scale difference between a rather tall condo versus a rather large office tower.

I don't get what logan's point was either, Vancouver (and area) is three times the size of Calgary.

^ Wow, through that pic there doesn't appear to be a lot of surrounding communities around Calgary, but it's skyline certainly has bang for it's buck.
