I apologize if I am missing something...

I think the single track idea is extremely inefficient. If a train becomes disabled or worse in the single track area, delays and /or temporary shut down would result.

Has UTA figured that into their contingency plan?

Witness a guy almost walking out and getting hit by a trax train while getting off of that train today at one of their stations. The driver had to lay on the horn and lucky the guy stopped before walking out.

Most of the Frontrunner line between SLC and Ogden is only one track with occasional side tracks for passing trains. If they can make it work 45 miles to Ogden, they can certainly make it work under 2 miles.

It's a problem with the PDF software they're using. I've had that happen to me before. You have to be fairly advanced in graphic design to fix the problem. It's NOT because they actually typed those spaces in there. You can blame Adobe for that.

And since it has the UTA logo on it, I'm guessing it came from UTA and not Simonsen's office.

I took a couple pictures of the Airport TRAX line interlocking construction Monday night at about 9:15pm.

I didn't get a good picture of it but it looks like they are also constructing a new crossover track on 400 W between South Temple and 🞵🞵🞵🞵's Sporting Goods.

There were several hundred people at the Sugarhouse Streetcar ground breaking today. I was impressed by the crowd.
