The Icone project will be launch wednesday. The design of the tower is the best kept secret in town. That illustration from the web-site is just a tease. Maybe it will be awful, maybe it will be great. We'll see.

District Griffin phase 3 also launch wednesday and they also did not release a proper render yet.

Montreal has been silent for far to long. Time to join the game.

These will be among the nicest green glass towers in the country assuming they're curtain wall.

Totally Agree. I found them pretty nice until ... today ! , Now they looks like an ugly piece of shit in my mind compared to that.
Now thats what I call : Pushing the limits very high... especially because I think it's about fucking time for Montreal to get something like that in 2012

They do look awfully plain if you compare, but I still think they can turn out to be sleek and classy. Anyway, two set of twin towers rising up in front of each other, that will be nice.

The Rocabella looks alright but I'm more impressed by Icone. Looks pretty striking now that we have more detailed renderings. Congrats to Montreal on this sharp new development.

Like I said on the 2 other threads...WoW! That's what I'm talking about! Placed in the perfect spot, filling one of downtown's most villainous gaps.

Damn right bebe!! The ouest side of Rene-Levesque is finally going to be what it was first intended to be...50 years ago.

But I get it, these are preliminaries...
weird...not sure what you see that i dont....can you elaborate?....is it because there isnt a blue sky in the rendering?

edit: so now its good because the rendering is coloured?
