This recladding has done a fantastic job making this building look even better.
I liked it before, but now, with the contrasting dark corners, it looks more imposing.

I wasn't expecting the podium to be reclad, so this one went over and above my own personal expectations.

To me, honestly this is like when they renovate the facade of a heritage building back to the way it was when it was built, as they sometimes restore it to look the way it could have looked initially if there were more resources. AON centre had the facade replaced and it looks great, but still just about the same. This is the first time I've seen a skyscraper having been renovated and almost reconcieved so that it looks better than it ever has before. It's like a director's cut of a movie that actually returns it to the way it always could have been. I've seen some midrises have a new facade tacked onto an old building, but that's a real 'facade'. This is fantastic. I can't wait to see it for myself.

I like your 'director's cut' analogy.

I've said it before, but this really came out looking fantastic - perhaps the best reclad I've ever seen. The best part is that building has retained its identity.

Looks awesome. That should be the 1st and only example in "Recladding for Dummies".

She looks amazing now!

I wasn't crazy about the dark corners when they first started but I find it really makes the new look now.

A rainy day update of First Canadian Place.

The podium, it's nice now that the hoarding is gone.

TD Centre as well. Still on the same floor they were at the end of November.

Some work on the plaza as well.

Pictures by me from Tuesday Febraury 21, 2012.

sorry to just pop in like this, just thought I would say that this building looks like a mix of the New York Times Building and an ipod. So excellent. Now if only they would do the same to the building's cousin in Chicago - The Aon Center.
