No one has mentioned the rumored return of lululemon back as a permanent store in its pop-up location plus the former eb games out door location on 11th

Are you saying you've heard a rumor that they are coming back? Or are you asking if anyone has heard if they are coming back?

Looks like this will be a big project, I read it will be about 70 million. Will be interesting to see where they are going to build it and what it will look like.

I thought it was implied that I had heard a rumour and I was thus inquiring if anyone had caught wind of a similar rumour. So yes has anyone else heard the possibility that lululemon will be back in regina.

I hadn't heard anything, but I was wondering if something was going on with that space though as it seemed like work was being done there.

There were For Lease signs there awhile ago...I was just by there tonight and didn't notice (ie I didn't think to look...) if they were still there or not.

Yes I heard their pop up store was wildly successful with no discounts and little inventory. They will be back in the Cornwall with a real store.

UofR

The u of r master plan shows what the plans are for the future residences... Two buildings, shaped like horseshoes facing each other with a courtyard in the middle.. Immediately north of Campion college and immediately east of the language institute. This is awesome, as I lived in the new towers a few years ago, and I worked for Res, and they said they turn away just as many students as they let in! And that goes for all residences on campus. They went from roughly 75% full four years ago to 100% full two years ago with a substantial waiting list. They actually have a lottery style selection process in place for the fall.

There has also been some activity in the old Debra Dee space on the 1900 block of Hamilton. There was a shoe store in there for a very short period of time in the past year.

Curious to know what is going in there...
It'd also be nice to see the (former) Great Panini space filled (in TD Bank building).

I also heard from a reliable source that the world will end in 2012. So how is this possible?

Ditto, but knowing Harvard we will not see a render or any details until they go to the Planning Commission for approval.

Looks like lighting is going up on the Trans-Canada on the south side of town.

Does anyone know what they are building at 9th and McAra? (they tore down some sort of grain handling building and are pouring concrete)

That was the site that had a horrible stench coming from it. The ground became contaminated with bio oil or something some how. I used to have to drive by it on a daily basis. Pour cement all over that lot and seal it to stop the stink. Also there used to be a rail line there to I think.

That was Canadian Green Fuels biodeisel facility. Not much to it. I am pretty sure they went out of business. Also known as Clean Power Concepts. This is a funny article:
