Yes... still doesn't explain the sudden prevalence of BC references. They aren't in BC.

Just had another chat with Kaiden where he was reminiscing about the view of English Bay from a condo. This is becoming comical. It's so out of place with the rest of the game.

Huge industry in Vancouver. Edmonton is close. Ya, I just might think.

So is it actually a Seattle-Vancouver megacity, or do they just say that to associate an American city with it like they do with almost every TV show filmed there?

Just looks like Vancouver to me.

There's no indication that the city is connected to the Island or Seattle like some people have said. And the only character to mention the city by name calls it Vancouver - well after you've left.

The game has so many variables that some people might not even hear that single mention though. Like for a lot of people, the character that kept yapping about BC has been dead since Mass Effect 1 (the game imports decisions from previous games).

You never go back to Vancouver after the opening minutes either. The game ends in another city, but 95% of the game is away from earth.

Also did anyone else notice the abundance of "seafoam green" in the Vancouver scenes from the buildings themselves to the cinematic colour filter? Or was that just me... lol
Apparently, some of those supertalls were obstructing the reaper's views. They take a stronger stance on Viewcones.

Well that's what the developers said like a year ago. I figured it would just be Vancouver, though.
