ok, after an incredible amount of time consumption, stress and effort i finally figured a way to display my first cheesy little pictures of austin. i tried getting a little "artsy" with the colors here, but it's no biggie.

I disagree. I believe this forum is the first place they check before deciding whether or not a project is worthy.

Looks like the Whole Foods Roof. Im 90% sure thats where it was shot.

After the new hotels are built on 3rd, that street will start to have quite a canyon of towers looking west from Bevo's location in his photos.

I am so so excited to see a mix of (awesome) businesses in this old space at Brazos & 4th! Especially Wanderlust yoga & music/Brazos venue. Business is BOOMIN

what really excites me is that those warehouses havn't been mowed under yet! Keeps some great texture in that area.

I know. They're working realllly fast on this. They already tore up the raised sidewalk today. I am guessing it will be level with the normal sidewalk, which is awesome.

Those raised sidewalks add some legitimacy to the Warehouse District from when they were loading docks. But yeah, they are damn pedestrean un-friendly.

True. I love them at halcyon, but they're totally unaccessible for wheelchairs. I really am loving this project. Wanderlust is awesome! I wanna see an official website for Brazos Hall. The marketing looks really interesting.

I like it. Here is the updated picture from that article. They will block the views of the 360 from Auditorium Shores, but still pretty cool. Those look freak'n big! lol.

Edit: Is that office building on the Austin Music Hall? That is what it sure looks like. Or it looks like something is build on top of the Music Hall. They aren't going to replace AMH I hope. I had just assumed it was not a part of all of this. That they were only redoing the treatment plant part.

Edit 2: Oh, never mind. I just looked at Google maps and forgot that the Extended 2nd Street will cut through this. So there will be a little area north of 2nd between 2nd and AMH where they can build that whatever it is on there. In the picture it is probably just blocking the view of the AMH.
