The grounds around the buildings is quite nice, with gardens and paving stones which have a great texture to them. Based on what I saw last time I was there, I'd have to agree with you. Although I wouldn't quite say I like the five of them, but they are way too harshly criticized. I don't like the part with the light-colored textures (perhaps a modified design with more glass and a little bit of bright trim on the edges would have worked better), but I love how the five of them jut out so much. You're also right about the grounds surrounding it, it's quite nice.
