While home on vacation last year, Dan and his girlfriend as well as his parents stopped in and had a visit with us while on vacation in Cape Breton last year. He is a decent person and I feel that the media is convicting him before he has a fair trial. Remember people......Dan is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and he has an excellent lawyer in Gord Cudmore. Not too hard to see the media bias is it?

There could be a number of reasons for the hold up such as waiting for disclosure (evidence) from the Crown before making a decision to go to trial or perhaps negotiate a plea deal, court logistics aka lack of courtroom space, or the lawyers just need it put over for another reason. What is hilarious is you usually have to go to go back to court on another day to set a date for another hearing.

AM980 has confirmed MacLellan was arrested and charged with failure to comply last Saturday (April 7th) in London. He spent the night in custody, appeared before a judge by way of video link on Easter Sunday (April 8th), and was released from custody the same day.

I feel bad for Dan spent his life building his reputation and doing great things for the community, and because of one stupid mistake, that he admits, his career his over.

Meanwhile that scumfeeder opportunist Tim Best, tried to use his political connections to get off, still denies drunk driving and hitting people. Hopefully the same occurs to best and his crappy bar loses its LLBO!

If I had my own media outlet, I'd hire him in a heartbeat, as long as it wasn't in Ontario. At least he never has been seen making inappropriate comments on TV, unlike Gord Martineau and Detroit's Bill Bonds - neither of whom ever got in trouble.

I'd give him a chance to prove that he can change.
