I thought that might get pushed back a bit, as last week the casino was erecting permanent light standards to replace the temporary ones they had where the hotel is to be built.

Based on that, the price point they are working with is just over $300/sq ft.
Seems pretty reasonable for concrete (pre-cast) condo construction close to downtown with enclosed parking. All units also have decent sized balconies and terraces.

Those are very large units. That strategy is a bit of a gamble. The market has trended towards smaller units in the past few years. It will be interesting to see if these sell.

love the jagged nature of the aveune building for its entrance to portage ave. speaking of 90210.
and yes, 40-50 more of these projects for the osborne area.. perfect location is on stradbrook and scott street across the alley from the church mansion where the houses are falling over on the north side.

Is it just me, or does City Place DESPARETLY NEED an total overhaul??!?!!? Everything from the brass finishings to the salmon pink in the paint and tiles. This is a major connection to the MTS Centre and right in the hub of the S.H.E.D. Hopefully there is some plans in the works already.

Fountains rock IMO, love listening to them and they have a calming effect. Yes, Cityplace and Portage Place both need major cosmetic changes, after all, Brian Mulroney is no longer Prime Minister.

Portage Place first though. 25 years of stores leaving, stabbings and creepers following me in the mall/skywalk might have a change with some paint and glass
