Great stuff Flar, I had seen most of those, but a few that I hadn't and really enjoyed! It's nice to give Ottawa some exposure outside of the Canada section.

Superb shots! Loved looking through each and every one. Number 23 is one of my favourites, it shows the byward market and the condo development and illustrates that Ottawa does have a lot of density and mid/high rise development outside of downtown!

I like the ones featuring the lines of buses along the transitway. For this period of time, that is so very Ottawa.

By "this period of time" you mean "the past 25 years"? The bus lineups have been a feature of Ottawa since the first time I set foot in it as a tourist (mumble mumble) years ago.

You know, I think we actually agree on most issues. I just try to put a positive / optimistic spin on things. If we get our act together, these bus lineups will just be a 'point in time' in the long run. In the meantime, they are unique, and indicative of an active city that finds a way to work, even if that way is not optimal.

And there's absolutely no activity on behalf of Ottawa in Canada section

It's true, there are a lot of Ottawa forumers but few venture out into the rest of the site. The subject of Ottawa does come up in City Discussions and the photo forums sometimes, it would be good to have the perspectives of locals in those discussions.

I think harls is too busy with kids to be out taking photos these days, but there have been some other photo threads on Ottawa in the past few months. There was a really good one by le calmar not long ago: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=196627
