They should be allowed to have it. The developer has chosen good architecture for the tower portion, and above average for the podium. I wonder how long until Hooters is torn down for a highrise?

The Hooters should be preserved and incorporated in the rooftop terrace with access to the jaccuzzi etc. I'd definitely come for some cheap eats.

Not even... It's in Lebourgneuf, near the Galeries de la Capitale shopping mall. Unfortunately, there is a lot of construction in this more distant part of town nowadays.

Here is a proposed twin tower project on Drummond in the huge empty parking lot between René-Lévesque (behind the Sheraton) and Ste-Catherine. It is not very tall (20-something stories each) but I'll take it to plug a gaping hole!

This area is to Montréal what South Core used to be in Toronto. Anything to fill thoses parking is good. I like the brick also.

Yeah the street level on this is pretty good. I like the vegetation. Downtown Montreal could use more greenery.

The worst parking lot has to be between Bishop and Crescent. It's good that Viva Lofts is being built there, even though I have some reservations about its materials/height.

* a maximum height of 150 m (the General Policy for Higher Buildings has identified this site as a location for a higher building);

* a total of 600 residential units including 180 market rental units; and
713 parking spaces, 8 loading bays, and 270 bike spaces.

All I can say about that BIG project in Vancouver is: WOW! Most interesting office tower proposal in the country since the Bow. Time for everyone to up their game.

It's a residential tower with office components in the low rise sections of the complex. But hell yea, in fact I think it is my favorite proposal of any kind in the entire country. It is a little short but it is phenomenal! Love how most of it basically hangs over the Granville Bridge

Don't know why no one has mentioned anything about this, but there are apparently some pretty amazing developments being proposed in and around downtown Oshawa. Here's a look at one of them.
