If Robson was to remake the street (in the same way Granville was remade), I think a good idea would be to install the same light rods that Granville has (but in a different colour; blue, for example), from BC Place to Broughton.

Medical clinic occupying the spot on Bute and Melville (chiropractor, massage therapist etc.). Not sure what is going in across the street (the "Leased" sign has been there for a few months now with no work done on the unit).

SDM is yesterday's store-always charging more than everyone else and it seems there's one every few blocks all overcharging while London Drugs throngs with customers despite having fewer stores.
Shopper's Drug Mart is the worst. Almost every time I go to any of their stores I find myself waiting in line behind 5 or 6 people and only one or two cashiers working. The cashiers work at the same speed whether there is a line up or not. They could learn a thing or 2 from London Drugs.

Urban Outfitters opening up on 4th avenue not Robson/Burrard. Unless they are opening two locations, which I don't think so. So Urban Outfitters is out, Apple is confirmed to move in next to Forever 21, at least I recall seeing that on this thread (correct me if i'm wrong). So where does this leave us. There are two prominent locations and still no clue as to who it could be?

Walked by HMV yesterday and the apple ipod signs were the only thing remaining. Could it be an Apple Flagship? This location makes more sense to me then next to F21.

And what will go into Robson/Granville?

Maybe Simon's still has a shot at the old HMV store since it's probably not going to be Urban Outfitters after all.

It's quite symbolic that the only things left in the HMV space are the iPod signs.

I thought Business in Vancouver reported they are going on Robson Across J. Crew?

This is all so confusing. My mall connections are useless!

Rumours are Victoria Secret & Abercrombie.

Also, it appears the Apple deal next to Forever 21 is dead.

Won't be VS, they are already committed elsewhere.

Had previously heard that Apple had looked at a "to be created" space that would occupy between Hotel Van and the Old Library. If the Robson location is infact dead maybe they're reconsidering it. The renders I had seen for it were pretty special.

No idea what's in store for the Library space now though, the fact there is no talk makes me think it's going to be pretty exciting.

If the apple deal is dead next to Forever 21 then, maybe it will be them. It is after all the perfect location for them and would explain why the only signs that remain are Apple ones.

Abercombie maybe at Esprit location? Robson & Granville?

It won't be VS because they are committed to a location. A very large location, I can't say anymore

Would that be a very particular place which has not been built yet? I think I know where.

The iPod signs are unintentionally symbolic of the "death" of HMV at the hands of the mp3, not a literal indication of a future Apple Store.

Some big changes coming to The Bay in March/April. Lots of things moving. So plans are as followed.
Mens White space will be on the 6th floor. Renovated to the same look as Womens white space. Housing big brand names like Diesel, Superdry and new brands coming in like Miss Sixty/Energie and Theory etc...
Major Home Fashion will move to the 5th floor.
Basement/Mall level will house TopShop and Topman on one side and another major retailer coming in for the other half.
Sub-Basement will be stripped and renovated completely for other purposes. No word yet what it will be. Pharmamart, The fleurist and Wine Boutique all have been given eviction notices.
Many brands from Subbasement will not be in the plans for the new Mens floor revamp.
Renovations should start in March/April. While renovations are underway. Mens floor will be moving to Sub-Basement while Mall level and 6th floor get renovated.

does apple own the ipod signs in HMV? its probably why they got left behind - HMV can't sell em off since they don't own them and just leaves them behind when they move out
