When I say flash the letter N, it doesn't mean you'll see a giant letter N flashing zin the sky.. It's morse code which is in flashes so like N would be a few quick flashes then 2 slower ones... That could be with a red, green, blue or any color at the tip and then above a huge white beam would project vertically into the night sky.

Actually "N" is just one long flash and then a quick one......or Dash,dot (-.)

"Y' would be -.-- or dash,dot,dash,dash

"C" would be -.-. or dash,dot,dash,dot.

THEREFORE: -.-.---.-. = NYC spelled out in morse code.

The dash/long is 3 times longer than the dit/short. The spacing between the dash and the dit is the same length as the dit/short.

What you're going to see, I guess, is a flashing light that lights up for about 5 seconds, then off for 1.5 second, then on for 1.5 second, then off for 5seconds, then repeat.

The restaurant service elevator used to be in the empty red square, the shuttle elevator still remains at its original position, and it will provide service to the disabled people. Though I still can't figure it out how will people access to the levels below or above them, the floorplans I have show some stairs at the yellow rectangle, but seing this more recent plan makes me wonder if we're going to be able to access to only one floor, being the lower floors (100 and 101) a bit cheaper than the 102nd.

Thanks. It kind of does. I know we have three levels up top. 100, 101, and 102. It used to be 2 for the restaurant and 1 for observation, correct? Then it was changed to 2 for observation and 1 for the restaurant, right? Then it was 2 for observation, and 1 for event space. Am I on the right track here? And now they have changed it to 3 observation deck floors? That is complete overkill.

The problem is, even if they are ever going to use the old restaurant floor for event space, how are they going to manage to do so without the service elevator? Part of me hopes that the diagram was a mistake and they will put it in anyway. At the very least I want a bar up there so I can have a few stiff drinks and forget everything but the lights outside.

And you bring up another good question with regards to accessibility between observation levels. I imagine they may just put in staircases between the two floors like some tenants did in the original WTC. The thing is, that will take up quite a large amount of space by itself. This whole thing just seems like they didn't think it through.

Here is the same or a similar floor from Zen's plans, which my guess is you already have. I don't see a service elevator on here either.

Correct to the flipping part, there was never an official confirmation of using the 102nd as an event space, but sure it was for an extra observation level.

Zen's 102nd floorplan shows only the main structural elements, hiding the HVAC and MEP shafts that we can barely see on the floorplan released by the New York Times. I made a mistake, there will be convenience stairs, located at the yellow rectangle I draw, but only will interconnect 100th and 101st. These floors will be separated from the 102nd.

Conde Nast taking more space at One World Trade Center

Conde Nast is expanding at One World Trade Center even before the iconic tower is finished. The Newhouse family's glam-magazine house plans to take 133,000 square feet more on top of the 1.05 million feet it signed for last year, sources told The Post.

The publisher of Vanity Fair and Vogue, among other titles, is expected to soon finalize a deal for floors 42-44 in the 104-story skyscraper. The original commitment for lower floors has been hailed as one of the most momentous leases ever signed in New York, heralding the birth of a new World Trade Center and symbolizing downtown's post-9/11 rebirth.

"Conde Nast had an option to expand and they told the Port Authority and the Durst Organization they were going ahead with it", a source said. The PA and Durst are partners in 1 WTC, which is is scheduled to open for tenants in mid-late 2014.

No we don't and I highly doubt the steel work is being affected since the cranes are moving and people are still working on the building's floors and decking.

Alright that's good to know. At least they've used this time to work on the glass and looks like even 4 wtc
