that red structure is far and away the best looking and coolest building of the modern type in all of Vancouver in my honest opinion.

I recently discovered that Nokia 3D Maps has an amazing 3D map of Toronto. Though it's about a year old, it's very photo-realistic. I suggest everyone check it out.

Ugh.. agreed, that bland garbage being put up will block the ACTUAL skyline of the city with the great old bank towers.

Leave it to aA to ruin the skyline with their bland trash as of late.

One building cannot block an entire skyline...

It's understandable that controversy will follow any building that could drastically alter the traditional skyline shot of Toronto, but I think we need to wait until we see some final renderings. I'm not holding out for something amazing, and am also sceptical of the effect the current buildings will have on the skyline

It's my favourite residential building in the country. It manages to be intricate and elegant yet remain modern and clean at the same time. Absolutely gorgeous.

Some people care about the development of our city. We're not willing to take any garbage a developer spews out.

And I appreciate that. But at least let's wait until we have some quality renderings to base our "hate" on.

So far all we have seen is a blurry render.

Unless the drawings/render we've seen so far is of a completely different building and it's just a placeholder for an actually interesting design, we know what we're basing this off of.

Also aA just spews out the same garbage as of late, and seems to have lost any ounce of creativity it had left, so I don't expect any saving grace from them.

Nobody wants garbage, but people need to stop saying how horrible and crappy 90 york is when we havent even seen a proper render yet, let alone the actual towers...

Really, one sketchup model and it's an automatic thumbs down.
