Love seeing Kelowna getting more dense, though I hope they can figure out a solution to the traffic there, it's as bad as here at times.

Mind if I take a stab at some new photos of the new Landmark building? And the carls jr. is pretty cool, being its the first in Canada. It's just a block from my place, so i go there occasionally. Not the greatest burgers... And overpriced.

^ Please do. I think some people forget what a 'landmark' building this is for Kelowna. An 18 storey office building is no joke wherever you go. It'll be a skyline changer for sure.

As for Carl's Jr., I'm not optimistic. I went there last summer, and couldn't believe what they're charging for a combo. $10-$11? Seriously? Carl's Jr. in Shanghai is close to half that for the exact same thing. For that price, I'd just go to Fat Burger down the road. It's way better anyway.

Really? Fatburger is nothing to write home about either. Carls Jr. must be real underwhelming.

CJ's would be ok it had standard fast food prices. Strangely, it charges 'gourmet' burger prices for a pretty underwhelming product.

As for Fatburger, people either like it or don't. I happen to think it's pretty good for a burger chain.

the five guys in west kelowna is actually pretty damn unreal, considering the $7 burger, $12 combo price.
the landmark building is really starting to look like something imposing. seems to be nearing or at the 10th floor already.

I didn't mind Carl's Jr. It reminds me of BK but better quality. Of course, I do prefer Fatburger and Five Guys (the best chain burger I've had), but they aren't fast food (they're fast casual).

I didn't actually know the Okanagan had a Five Guys. When did it open?

No kidding. For some reason it seems to be going up at about half the speed of most projects.
