To whomever edits the diagrams,

As per the recent news articles on Ten York, the tower will be 816ft/248.7m, not 817ft/249m.

Done, thanks. - Dylan

This building will look really tall given its 75 stories and it's location. The sight line while driving on the Gardner will look crazy.

Whippersnapper, Whippersnapper?

Do you edit the skyscraper diagarams? - You have a job to do right now.

By 2018/2019 - Toronto could have 9 Buildings over 239 meters.

That's crazy

1. FCP - 298
2. Trump - 277
3. Scotiaplaza - 275
4. Aura - 264
5. Brookfield Place 263
6. Ten York - 249
7. 90 Harbour - 240
8. 90 Harbour - 240
9. Commerce Court - 239

Not including rumoured supertalls.....

"I think 100 storeys is completely doable in Toronto; that’s sort of the next generation of height,” said Rudy Wallman.

Don't forget the twin 786 ft towers that will rise right next to this. Wow, this is surreal. The Gardiner is going to become a ridiculously awesome skyscraper canyon.

We're gradually getting there. Look at the impressive progress we've in the last 10 years. New 30 storey buildings used to be the talk of the town in 2000. Then 45 became the new 30, and 60 became the new 45 earlier on this year. And now three consecutive 70+ storey buildings have been proposed like it's no-big-deal. The height standards have been quickly rising, and 100 storeys should eventually be realizable once citizens accept that the city is growing vertically because of the demand and future growth planning.

ridiculously awesome, but potentially dull/boring.
i'm pro height here, but leaning toward anti design. 10 york is below mediocre imo.

100 storeys?... that's a bit of a jump. i see 80-90 storeys more realistic.

even Chicago/NY dont have any condo towers that tall (or should i say, that many floors)... i actually just realized that!

ONFYR!

With the City acting as developer - smooth sailing with a chance of conflict of interest.

That's pretty impressive. They should put a 2 meter flag pole on top of the tower and just call it 250 meters. That way there would be 6 over 250 But that is arbitrary so it's still very impressive

Renderings are up for 90 Harbour - should have pictures tomorrow.

2 x 70 floor towers (239.5 meters)

Chadillac will finally have a rendering to hate.

is it 249 with the fins on top or 249 without? because if its without them, this could be even taller!

edit: well F***. i pray to god the twins get shot down. i don't want 2 ugly towers dominating our skyline, yet alone 1.

Yeah, but what about the design is going to be repulsive to some folks? Are they plain boxes? Are they outlandish looking?

I dunno, this is second hand information. The renders have been posted, you'll get the pictures tomorrow.

Well, I'm obviously not going to hate them if they are of decent architectural merit.

I'm still holding out hope.

Hopefully it's not that bad. Tridel, the usual architectural dud, rose to the occasion with a stunner for their signature project. Menkes' proposal will be equally (or more) prominent on the skyline. Any lesser of an attempt will be an automatic disappointment. Tridel seems to have stuck with Wallman for their downtown projects, will be interesting to see what Menkes counters with.

If I only knew that the render was out at the site I would have made the trip down there since I was in downtown Toronto this afternoon. I guess I will have to wait for tomorrow.
