It does have a different branding, nothing to do with Manulife.

I was able to attend the opening of the pearl last night. They have certainly raised the bar when it comes to show suites. layouts are fantastic.

^I was there as well. Remarkable layouts generally speaking, good pricing and a huge raise of the bar for this city.

I had heard it being referred to as "The Arc", but I have no confirmation that it will have that name if it gets built.

The minor renovations at Westmount mall have to do with Shaw taking over the Wells Fargo call centre.

Shaw's new Edmonton building plans fell through a few years back during the boom, but they are still a little over capacity at their existing office. So this will be their second off site expansion.

I really wish the CoE had given the north edge an east village type once over to spur development.

The lack of proper sidewalks and power poles in your face really brings the area down.
Considering how many new tax payers have moved into the area over the last 10 years, I think we really are due for some neighborhood improvements.
