Great rendering. If you added just a bit of warming filter to the Cadillac-Fairview tower it would look even more real.

This rendering ought to be sent to the good people who built le Crystal. Show them the tragedy...

^This picture makes me realize how much potential there is for extending the skyline westwards (or to the right in this picture) from The Bell centre to Guy street. A few 130+ towers and Montreal will have a skyline to rival its smaller brothers out west.

I know it won't happen, but I'd rather Montreal's skyline got taller instead of wider.

Good to see Montreal getting back in the game, seems like they've been out of the 'playoffs' for so long

Montreal will never have a 250+ building. Ever. It pissed me off 5 years ago but now, I'm fine with it. Montreal is not, nor has it ever been a city of tall buildings. Even when it was the largest city, Toronto had the edge in number and height. I want Montreal's skyline to reach some sort of harmony. Denser, wider, deeper. Height? Let's pull off a vancouver by adding one signature tower. That's why I think Vancouver's skyline is the nicest in Canada, its consistent, wide, deep and has a signature tower that adds body.

Agreed, and now that it has a couple of decent towers poking above the canopy to join the Shangri La it's looking even nicer

Future Toronto skyline - Toronto will look more and more like an Asian city than a North American one.

I don't know, I wouldn't want to live in a condo squished in between two highways. There's no life, no neighbourhood, just tall towers and highways.

Looks like my fears are coming true. Within ten years the view of the CBD from the south will be blocked by a seemingly endless amount of 200m condos.

Cool renderings but the above quoted statement is absurd. Sorry Cal. Toronto will never ever look more like an Asian city than a North American one. It is not possible.

I'm sorry to say, but this isn't proper urbanism. Lifeless condo towers and wide boulevards don't make for good street life, or life at all.

It juts reminds me of this:

What kinda streetlife do you expect, these things are being built around a freeway.
