^Everything's relative. Outsiders should realize that at the height of SSP's thriving Montreal forum, MAJOR expansive threads materialized out of 20 floor projects. The threshold until 2-3 years ago was 28 floors. NOTHING went above that. Now we have 40+, 60+ projects. And dozens of highrises planned u/c in downtown. After 19 years of sleep, yeah this is an explosion.

Things are looking good coast to coast. Worldwide Financial Crisis 1 and 2 have been very good to us.

I'm looking forward to Euro-Zone Meltdown 1 - Maybe there is a supertall (or two) we can squeeze out of the travails of the rest of the western world.

Here's an office building being built in Victoria on an auto-centric strip of the main street that run's into town, Douglas St. (also the Trans-Canada).

There will be a Jaguar and Land Rover dealership in it.

The new Sheridan campus looks great. All of the GTA's colleges have great recent additions/expansions.

Limelight will look mediocre, but I'm just glad Daniels has finally moved away from building anymore faux-historic dreck in MCC. Hopefully they stick to the contemporary.

I don't understand why Toronto's ring suburbs are all booming with proposals and highrises and Hamilton isn't. I'm not saying hamilton is a suburb (don't want steeltown to bust a cap in my ass) but I know many people who communte to TO for work. So, where are the highrises! C'mon hammy, even Quebec City and Winnipeg are jumping in on the game!

Totally looking forward to MaRS II. Going to look incredible. Pound for pound, one of the most important projects right now in the city (location and functional reasons). Was actually hanging out here yesterday. One of my fav buildings/complexes in the city.

Meh, I preferred the old design. I think phase one of the MARS complex beautifully compliments the old building.

I'll stay optimistic though. So nice to have another non condo going up
