WOW! How long has it been since the skyline received such a makeover?
Great! Now just some more infill, and a peak tower in the middle...

whoa! thank you! This is awesome.

A slight correction though, the tower should be a little bit to the west. So in this pic it would overlap with the CCE 1 and the crystal.

G.S MTL & lake of the nations, vous êtes fort les boys.

next assignment is the Marriott and Altitude

altitude is a little difficult because I don't think more than a third of the building will be visiable

You should add the Marriott to this photo, its going to fill up the nice gap between CD and Tour de la Bourse.

Remember a couple years back, when we got all excited with the announcement of the Louis Boheme...at 28 floors!

Yeah, I think it was when the L-B got going that I really started being sick of the 28 storey 'mental' height limit. It was the 400 Sherbrooke that broke it all with a surprising 37 storey height. I remeber way back on SSP when it was first scooped. I didn't believe it.

I remember way back when we were all excited about the fugly Tours Lépines, the Roc Fleuri and the Beaux-arts condos. I would take the Louis-Bohème any day over those. (I really dislike the Tour Lépines... The worst part is that they are visible from Mount Royal!)

Of course the most exciting at the time was the 1300 Rene-Levesque Ouest!

Here is a new project at the corner of Sherbrooke West and Cavendish in NDG. (is this where the Provigo is?)

^ oh yeah that chicago-inspired gold-clad 50 storey-ish tower. The 1300's design was an insult to human eyes, glad that never panned through.

Hmmm! It seems to be south-west of Sherbrooke and Cavendish. Like behind the taller building (from Sherbrooke's perspective)

I did it a couple of months back even though it's not the same pic (but pretty much the same vantage point). I just noticed it should be taller, gotta correct this. I might as well add the other proposed or U/C stuff.

credit Serge Lacasse

EDIT: just added the Cadillac Fairview project and fixed the height of the Marriott. I can add whatever will be visible from the Champlain, gotta check that (maybe parts of Altitude and Altoria, probably W-A and 1 or 2 office towers such as Union, SNC or FTQ)

^ Yeah, I can't figure out how he managed to take a pano from the Champlain bridge. He had to be stuck in the traffic. The pic is getting old but the skyline didn't change much since then (I just checked on Google maps and the 400 is not visible from there) so I'll use it to add the new stuff.
